Almost there!

We had our inspection last week which turned up a few plumbing problems. Luckily we were able to settle on splitting the cost of repairs with the seller and all will be fixed before we move in. As of now we are closing on 2/8. We will spend the week after that painting, cleaning and getting the plumbing fixed and then we move in on the 16th while my parents are here. Things are still going well living with our friends the Coblentz's but I am still so ready to be in my OWN house with my OWN room. The countdown is on!!

We got it!!

There was a little negotiation but after all was said and done it's ours!! It still needs to pass inspection so were are not quite there but in the words of our agent, we are on the 5 yard line!

We put in an offer!!!

We are submitting an offer on a house today. We love the neighborhood and the house has so much character!! So keep your fingers, toes and whatever else you can crossed and a prayer or two wouldn't hurt either! Here is a link if you want to check it out.

Update

Well, we are now living with our friends until we find a house. We went looking yesterday and we think we have found something. We are going to look at a few more to be sure but hopefully we will be putting an offer in on something very soon. Unfortunately I don't know how to post pics without using my own computer so those will have to wait but I promise to post a bunch as soon as possible.

Finley is really getting to be fun! She can giggle and her new thing is screaming. She thinks it's hilarious. Our friends have a little boy who is 3 weeks older than Finley and he is so much more subdued and laid back than Fin. He doesn't scream like our little girl. It's so fun to watch their different personalities. He is definitely a boy and ours is a girl. I also think she is getting her first teeth. She drools and chews on everything and just hasn't been totally herself lately.
