Just Livin'...

Finley loves to empty anything she can get her hands on. Today she got into my rags and dish towels. She looks so proud of herself!

I had to put a picture of my beautiful flowers I got at the St Paul farmers market. Can you believe the only cost 5$!!!

Fin also likes to pull herself up on anything and everything. She particularly liles the fireplace because she can see her reflection in the brass,

Hangin' with Daddy.

Last week we went to my Uncle Gary's house to see Mitch, Kim and their kids who were visiting. Finley helped with the dishes :)

Finley and my cousin Kristy.

And we finally broke down and bought a baby gate to "trap" Finley in the family room. It has clear plastic which she loves to lick and make faces against.

The Lake

This week we went to the lake for 5 days and we were able to see Uncle Travis, Aunt Sarah, Uncle Aaron and Grandma and Grandpa Wald. My Dad's family came to the lake the day before we left so we spent a day with them as well. It was a little cold but still fun. It was great to just relax and hang out with everyone. Here are a few pics from the trip.

Great Grandma Wald
We had one night that was absolutely beautiful. It was so still and peaceful and the fish were biting :)
This is a picture of the cabin we stayed in from the dock. The view was perfect.
And the lodge.
Everyone enjoying the morning and view from the deck.

No children were harmed in the taking of this picture. The can was empty but it's still funny:)
Cody caught a few fish and he had to show them off to me and Finley.
We had about an hour of sun one day so we took advantage and let Fin splash around. The water was cold but she loved it! And of course Mavis had to wear her lifejacket because bulldogs can't swim.

Going for a boat ride.

A Trip to ND

This weekend we headed to Glen Ullin for the big 125th celebration, all school reunion and the 4th. We had lots of fun. Cody was able to see lots of people he hadn't seen in a while and Finley spent lots of quality time with Nana and Papa.

On the way back home we made a quick pit stop at Uncle Tony's (my grandma's brother) to see everyone that had come into town for the Welk reunion (my maternal grandmother's family).
Finley saw Fr Tom (another one of grandma's brothers). He lives in Wichita so when Cody and I lived in Wichita for a year we became very close with Tom. He was so good to us and we frequently has Sunday brunch with him. It was good to see him again.
And of course we saw great Grandma!

Finley crashed on the way home.
Watching the parade with Nana.
Bubbles!!
Taking a bath at Nana's house.

What a pretty baby!
At the park on the 4th.
Playing with Nana's dolls.

More bubbles!!

She's Moving!

This weekend Brian, Sarah. Brogan and Riley came to visit us. Beth and Gary came too but my vodka slushies got the best of Gary and Beth had to take him home a little early ;) The kids had a ball playing together but as you can see by most of the pictures it was nearly impossible to get both of them to look at the same time.

And she's crawling!!! She started crawling on Sunday and hasn't looked back. Mavis isn't liking it too much. She crawls to where Mavis is sleeping and pinches her. Luckily we have a very patient dog!
This weekend we are going to Nana and Papa Schmidt's house. It should be a good time. Happy Fourth to everyone!!
