Our House Guest

This week we had a visitor for a few days, a 9 week-old bulldog. Cody's aunt Carmen bought the puppy from someone in Iowa and Cody picked him up and he stayed with us for a few days. As you can probably tell from the picture, Mavis was not happy about the cute distraction that took away from her non stop attention. We enjoyed our time with Charlie the puppy and we are glad he has made it to his rightful owner.

Aaron and I also went to the Mastel picnic with my Grandma Bosch. Mastel was grandma's mom's maiden name. I visited with some relatives that I had never met and I was able to spend time with relatives that I don't get to see very often. The picture is of Aaron, Grandma, my aunt Beth and uncle Gary, and my cousin Tara.It was fun and I was glad that we were able to go.

29 Weeks!

This week we tried to finalize our registry which was more difficult than I had anticipated. Choosing a stroller or a car seat is tough. We want a sturdy, safe car seat, but not too heavy. We want a fabric with a stylish print and washable. And the choices! There are so many. Well, long story short, we are finally registered and I'm going to try and not change it, at least not too much ;)

28 Weeks!

Not much new going on with us. The baby is growing and kicking ALOT. I am starting to be able to tell the difference between a heel in my ribs and an elbow in my side. I love feeling her move but this little girl has some strength. She really knows how to catch her momma by surprise with a swift kick!

Cody has been very helpful by giving feet and back rubs whenever asked. We went to a breast feeding class last week and he was even able to keep his composure while watching the video full of breasts. He really is growing up!!

Only 12 weeks. We can't wait!

27 Weeks!

Today I had another appointment and everything went well. I passed my glucose test so no diabetes and the baby's heart rate was 154. The doctor said there are no signs of preterm labor and the baby is growing well. I couldn't ask for a better appointment!
