Merry Christmas!

Tonight we opened presents with Nana And Papa Schmidt and once again Finley got a little spoiled.

Grandma and Finley

It's not the best picture but this is Finley's Christmas dress that she got from Grandma Deb.

And we've started solids!! Finley has fallen behind on the growth charts so the pediatrician said it was time. She loves the banana flavored rice cereal. As you can see she is still a bit messy!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas.
Happy Holidays from the Schmidt's!

The Nutcracker

Grandma and Grandpa Schmidt are here for Christmas and today we went downtown to Macy's where they have The Nutcracker set up and you walk through the scenes. Finley loved watching the dolls move and all of the sparkly snow. We had so much fun.

Of course Grandma couldn't help spoiling Finley just a little bit and when she saw this she had to have it! it is a snowman snowsuit. It is absolutely adorable and so soft and snuggly.
On a different note, we are moving out of our townhouse on the 31st. Long story short, we will be living with some friends for a while and then hopefully getting a house so until then there probably won't be many posts but I'll do my best to keep the blog updated.

Back to work!

Daddy puts Finley down to bed every night. It's kind of become their thing. He puts her in her swaddler and they rock and watch TV.
Sleeping in her swing
So serious!
I have been going to a baby and me aerobics class and Finley usually wants to be held during the class. So I was participating as much as possible while holding her and she was sucking on my arm. When I pulled her away this is what she had done to my arm. That's a strong suck!
She's really starting to like dolls. She sucks on the head of this doll which I guess means "I like" in baby language.
Well last weekend was my official first day back at work. Luckily she was with Cody and he brought her up to see me. It was hard but I kept the tears to a minimum. As hard as it is I am glad to be back and doing what I love and at the end of the day I am blessed enough to be coming home to my beautiful baby girl!
